More dancers

I cant move on to anything new till I take time to recognize all the wonderful dancers we saw this past memorial day weekend. These kids worked so hard all year on their dances. They learn the opening numbers and finale in just a few hours and just a few days before the show and still it looked professional. The dances that are performed by the teams take months to learn and achieve the quality we as parents and friends come to enjoy seeing. Many of these kids live to dance while other do it for fun and to make great memories with friends and family. There is no telling what these kids will become. They are all so talented and so smart. I think the opportunity to dance just adds to who they are, where their lives can go and what they will accomplish as adults. Dance gives them the drive and makes them well rounded in so many areas other than dance. The parents and grandparents all take the time and not to mention a lot of their hard earned money to allow their children to dance and to enjoy their passion. So below I am sharing just a very few of the kids that I have come to love and enjoy watching dance thru the years. We will be losing several this year as they graduate. And even though I know more of the kids Ashley's age I still will miss seeing the seniors at practice and the studio as they move on. They have been so helpful to the younger group that follows them. I think this year and next year we will lose some of the most talented kids in the studio. I hope they dance as adults and in their changing lives for years to come and I hope we see them in the future. I am sure our graduating seniors will continue to show up at recitals and support our younger generation of kids that will grow to take their place on stage. Those are some big shoes"Dance shoes" to fill..

"These boots are made for walking"

The younger team dances to Barbie girl in the finale

The Petite stars dance some hip hop to "ICE ICE BABY".

Ashley and her team in the finale
Our Senior dance team. They were fantastic .Will always stills the show.

The little boy in the middle was a ham!!

Justin dances his last solo as a senior. It was fantastic. We sure will miss seeing him next year .

"The River Dance" was beautiful!! Those kids sure can move together well.

The seniors dance team dances to "HIP HIP CHIN CHIN" It was one of my favorites!!
This is the level just above Ashley's group. They dance to "Dancing on the Ceiling" And they looked great!

The baby stars were just too cute dancing to " Raindrops keep falling on my Head".They were dressed up as butterflies and ladybugs. Loved those props!!

One more look at "HIPHIP CHIN CHIN".

The young beginners are so cute.I remember those days :o)

The show lasted 4 hours! There were many dances and I have pics of just a few. It was a great show. Many of these kids started like Ashley at 5 years old and younger. Some graduating seniors have been dancing at the studio since they were just 3 years old. I look forward to many more recitals as Ashley continues to dance and grow. For now the curtain comes down ending another year of dance.
