Beech Bend

We had a great day on Saturday.A few of the Girl Scouts and 3 parents (including myself) took a little trip into Beech Bend. I never realized how close it was. I use to see the commercials as a child and thought it looked pretty fun. Back in those days we had Opryland so we never made it to Beech Bend. It is not as big as Opryland was but the rides are a bit closer together making you walk less ride to ride. Beech bend also has a great water park.
Ashley and I after several hours in the park. Stooping for a break and lunch.
This was a ride the girls did many times. Not quite as scary as the "Kentucky Rumbler"Roller coaster.
This had to be my favorite ride. The girls loved getting splashed. The lines were not long at all. We came back to this ride again.I bet we rode it 20 times.
Now this is relaxing on my sore feet.
This was a favorite. A fun Roller coaster that the girls wanted to ride a lot!
Bet you did not know Ashley was driving already :o)
This was the big Roller coaster."The Kentucky Rumbler"The track was made of wood. This was one scary ride!! You can tell by our faces. We only did this one once. I felt sick to my stomach after this one. Or maybe it started with the ride that twisted and turned me upside down a hundred times.
I loved going down the big slide. I would go so fast I did not think I would stop!!
I never thought Ashley would have the guts to go down the HUGE water slides. But she went on all 4 and did it over and over and over!!
The water park was perfect at the end of a hot day.
