Spring Dance Recital 2008

Another Recital has come and gone. Seems like they come faster and faster. We had many great dancer graduate this year .I will miss seeing them at next years recital. This year Ashley probably had the most fun ever.She was on stage 8 times and had 4 big dances. Here are a few pics of Ashley with her teams...Below are pictures of Ashley Competition team doing their ballet dance to "Rainbow Connection". This is my favorite dance they do. They all look so pretty in those dresses. This dance has been doing great at the competitions this year.

The photo below is Ashley in her "Footloose " dance. Let me help you find Ashley.She is in the corner lifting up Jordan. She loved doing this dance because she got to lift up the smaller girl. They dance with the younger kids and performed this at competitions doing pretty good with it. It was very hard with kids as young as 7 years old. It took a lot of work and time to coordinate. There were about 30 kids in all doing this dance on stage at once.

Ashley loves Tap. This is her tap class of 7. They danced to the Charleston. Ashley is the 3rd back on the far side. She has a big smile. It took years for her to smile and dance at the same time.

Below is Ashley's dance team dancing "HIP HOP" to "BOOM". I think this was the dance they most enjoyed because it was fun and had a lot of moving.I think Ashley liked the outfit. Her dad didn't care too much for it though :o)

Keeping the girls happy backstage is pretty easy :o)



On Saturday many of the Team members and parents headed to Outback for a very late dinner.
