Heading to "Nationals"

Tomorrow is the big day the girls have been waiting for. The trip to Gatlinburg for the "Stage One Nationals Dance Championship"! We'll leave by 10:30. I really hope to see some of the older kids doing their solos at 4 p.m. We should get there in plenty of time to cheer them on. Ashley team and all the team dancers from all studios will take place on Friday. The "Shoot-out" will take place Sunday morning. Only those who score highest in their category will be able to dance in the "Shoot-Out" against all the highest scores for the top prize.Over the past month the kids have been going to practice twice each week for a couple hours at a time. Not just to practice their dances but for conditioning as well. Last night all the team dancers had dance practice from 4-9. They also had there Pep Rally.They had plenty of food and all the kids had some fun while others danced in the main dance area. We were all enjoying the kids. I stood high above them on the walking track most the night. Here are just a few pics of the kids practicing and having fun. There are about 75 team members in all.
