RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS

It is a very rainy day here in Clarksville Tenn. It stormed all night. On top of that, our 2 cats somehow managed to get into the attic yesterday. They were discovered around midnight during the storm. I guess it scared them and they started to meow very loudly. My knee ached all night from the fall I took at church. Luckily only 2 people saw, along with Tim. there is this little step up going into the kitchen. It is an awkward step, one of those that is a 1/3 of the size it should be and in a spot where you are just entering the kitchen. I tripped on it before. I just forget it is there. I hope no old folks trip on that. I still have a sore left elbow and bruised hip from falling down our stairs a couple weeks back :(
I feel better this morning, except the fact I broke the lid to my beautiful Longaberger casserole dish. I think I can still order a replacement. I'd be sad if not. Tim said just be grateful I didn't break another bone! I seem to stumble a bit much. Just not paying attention I suppose.

Tim and I at the church Thanksgiving supper

Thanksgiving supper at church was pretty awesome! Great food and wonderful people. I would have liked to stay and chatted longer, but Ashley had some typing for school to do, why she waited to the last minute I have no clue! Kids just do that kinda stuff now and again. I think to just get on our one nerve! My lemon blossoms seemed well liked. The apple salad was not as big of a hit with some eaten as well as the yummy cream corn. I think it was just because there was so much food! Maybe in the future I'll stick to dessert making. That is so much more fun to do.

Before the evening supper,Ashley spent time with my mom. They really enjoy watching movies together. Yesterday they watched most of " The Breakfast Club". Mom orders many of the older movies and Ashley really loves that. Tim picked her up around 5.I was watching some Titan's football. It didn't finish before we left. they ended up losing,,,again :(
