Old family recipes

Yesterday I went to my mother's house and we made Camp Stew. This is a recipe from my grandmother. It might have started back in the days when men would be out camping while hunting or even traveling by wagon trains. It is an easy recipe that we loved as kids. I think some have to start as kids to really like it. Tim is OK with it as long as he can throw hot sauce in it.

I have other recipes I loved as a child. Some being Mexican skillet dinner,Mom's chicken and dumplings, Meatballs and tomato sauce,home made biscuits,Liver and onions with gravy, and sweet n sour ribs! That was my favorite!

Some were my grandmothers and others my mothers. But all were good!
