Cooler weather

This week has been Fall Break for the schools. Tim also took his vacation time. It started out warm and rain, turned sunny and now has turned a little cooler. It feels pretty nice.

Today was not the most exciting day. I did some grocery shopping and enjoyed a visit with mom. Mom told me stories of growing up and we fussed about the politics in Washington. A hat had come in mom ordered for Ashley. Ashley had picked it out. It was a fancy red hat. Ashley's favorite color. Mom also showed me a hat she bought for herself. It was nice on her.

 Ashley had Andrew over and he was kind to help Tim shut down the pool. It was a pretty cool day and Tim didn't enjoy having to get in the cold water. Maybe he should have worn his wet suit!

Ashley was happy about that hat and plopped it right on her head and wore it to her voice lessons.
 Yes, Ashley has started taking some voice lessons. Ashley loves to sing and I like having her interested in new experiences. Sylvia Britton from church is her voice coach. Sylvia has such a beautiful voice! I know Ashley will learn allot from her. Plus Ashley has agreed to go to church choir practice. I hope she starts singing on Sundays. I was in choir as a teenager. I Loved it!  I think Ashley has always had a pretty voice and why not learn to make it even better. I guess I always wished I could sing. My mother always was singing and sounded so pretty. I must have taken after dad! Tim use to sing and even his dad told me about how he,(Tim's dad), as a child use to tap dance and go to shows impersonating Elvis as a child. I can not even imaging that!! Sounds like he was pretty good at it.
