MLK DAY

PICTURE OF THE DAY

We always have critters in the yard. Today was no different and I was happy they showed up for my picture of the day!

 Ashley's friend Christy stayed the night. I guess they stayed up late, because they slept in till close to 10a.m. They finally came down and snuck pudding cups up to the room for breakfast. Well, it does have some milk, right?

I did my 30 minute walk and then a little bit of cleaning. Did some weights and played around with the PINK boxing bag Ashley got for Christmas. I have started  reading the book I bought, all about being a positive mom. It is an easy read and I got through a couple more chapters today. After Christy left, Ashley did her few chores. It is always easy to think about being positive till your child is in a mood after staying up too late! And it was all because "I" was being "NICE" and letting her have her friend over for a long visit. 

Later Ashley and I had a fun time scrapbooking together. Ashley is creating  a mini scrapbook for Andrew's valentine's card//gift.

 Tim made dinner tonight! Pinto beans and rice. I think they could have been a little less spicy,but they were still pretty good. Anything to have someone else do the cooking!

I continued to scrapbook and am enjoying it so much! I worked on the Homecoming pages tonight.
Besides watching some TV including "The Bachelor" my night is drawing to an end.
I am not sure why,but lately I am just sore in the mornings. Must have to do with my age. I have not been working out hard enough to be this achy in the mornings. UGH! I hate growing older. BUT. it IS better than the alternative!
