A new President elect has many believing we are going to be on a new road, a new start to a better United States. I am hopeful that all the dreams of those who voted for Obama come to pass. We can all have our view our beliefs and our hopes for a better future. I, as an American will put opinions aside and stand behind our new President when he is sworn in. I think whether you voted for Obama or McCain, you will agree we are all in search of the same thing. We can all sit back, watch and give Barack Obama a chance to show he is the right person for the big job that lies ahead. I just hope many who lead the way and Obama himself did not make the ideas and promises,and the image so big it is impossible to live up too. I am hopeful this is the person to bring our economy back and to lead us in the right direction and for once and for all, show we are one America and not a black and white America. I did not vote for Obama. Why? Because, I never got to know who he really was for all the months he ran,and boy did I pay attention to it all!! I know who McCain is. He is an American hero who proved time and time again he would reach across party lines to make a difference. he was once the Republicans nightmare and the Democrats hero.Once he was running he suddenly became an irratic conservative to the ones who once awed him. As far as reaching out to all parties, I knew Obama had not done so during his time in the Senate. Not on tough issues. I am hopeful he will do as he has promised and start with a plan to unite us all by reaching out to not just one party, but all Americans. I am now behind our new President as all should be. .WHAT SAY YOU??
