Not long ago...

I came across this photo of Ashley in 3rd grade. I think it was so cute and so funny at the same time. Look at her lips. I remember she always thought she was smiling. She would smile like this in dance too. IT took another year or 2 for her to know how to make a REAL smile and not this smirk. I also remember this being her favorite hair style. The first time she wore it styled like this to school all the kids told her she reminded them of Princess Lea in Star Wars. That was it, she thought that was so cool and wanted to wear this doo every week! That little pink top was a favorite of hers too. She LOVED the fur around her neck.I guess she felt like a real princess in that girly pink top. When she finally out grew it I had to sneak it into a bag to give away. Ashley wanted to keep it forever.
