Painting the Florida room/ keeping room

So I got some painting done. Now I am going to get some blue painters tape and a smaller brush to edge with. I really don't like painting walls and trim! Although, I do not like paying someone to do it when I have time to do it myself. 

Why the fellows we hired put a shelf up before it was painted is beyond me. I thought they planned to paint it . That is what I get for thinking they understood what I meant when I said I wanted the old white painted one taken down to improve the look with a new one that was better quality. So made since they would paint it. I guess you need to put every detail in writing. But to me it is common since. Just let me know so I can paint it. It was horrible painting a hung shelf! lesson learned again :P
