Dads plaque

Dad was Civitans for as long as I can remember. he was always doing helpful community services. He rang the bell for the donations to help the poor . Usually in front of krogers in the freezing cold. I remember dad taking food baskets to the needy in some not so great neighborhoods. dad was also the  President of  Civitans for a few years. He was very dedicated and never missed a meeting unless he was sick. My Dad was with them right up until her passed away in October 2005. When he passed he was their treasurer.

Many people who knew my dad might not have known him as a dedicated civitan member who served to help others or that he never missed his Sunday at Church, he was in the knights of Columbus and served as an Usher at his church "Immaculate Conception". I sure was and am  proud of my dad and all he did with his life.
