THROWBACK THURSDAYS

I always enjoy my days I get to just stay at home. Do a little cleaning and straightening up.
I did just that this morning. I also got to enjoy hanging out with my friend Kathy. We always talk a little about lots of things. Mainly we chat about our children and our childhood years. The good the bad and the ugly. Most of all we brag in some way about what the kids might be doing or what we hope for them.

Wish Kathy and I had remembered to have taken a picture! Maybe next time :) For now I'll just post this old photo. It is of Kathy, her sisters Mary Tom and Katina and her Mother Earlene! The photo was taken  at my house as a teen. Must have been 1979? Mom loved that hanging daisy flower chandelier type thing. It was surely Home interior! The kitchen is in the background.. Those were some fun times. Kathy and I were in the thick or teenage years and a friendship that we kinda knew would last a lifetime!

Throwback Thursday
Ashley had her hour long voice coaching. I can tell it is giving her more confidence. She is preparing for try outs for Miss Clarksville High School.  Whether she gets chosen or not she is enjoying the preparation. She also has agreed that since we are paying for the voice classes, she will join the choir at church. Might as well use what she is working so hard to better.

I started going through some stuff in my scrapbook supply room. One box down! It really didn't have much in it.  Glad I got rid of the practically empty box!

The evening came to a finale going to see a play put on by CHS Drama club (Ashley is a member of). Ashley made a trailer for the play. It was very good. The theme was morbid about a school shooter  and titled "RUN",  It really made you think about all the school shooting of lately. The reasons  for kids going off the deep end can start at home. Nobody there for these kids. The other might be teaching kids not to judge or bully. I think I got that out of it. I am sure there was more but hey it was past 9 and I do not go out that late anymore :P
