Throw Back Thursday

For this TBT I am posting this photo of Ashley. She heard a great idea at church. You take a note pad and write something good and kind about each person in the family. Then you put it where they will find it. She hid this letter in her daddy's bed and we made it up for him to find when he came home from a work related trip. I still have my letters :)

It is only after 4pm and I feel exhausted!  I thought I slept well but maybe not.

Maggie May

I started the day with a quick cleaning and a 20 minute walk. trying to get things in order early is a new plan I have.

All groomed and clean!

I went to mom's around 10:00. I waited with her for the mobile Dog groomer to come. Maggie is getting older and taking her to the groomer is not an easy task. She is big and poor girl has a touch of arthritis. The groomer was kind and she loved on Maggie. The grooming and bath took about 90 minutes. Maggie looked like a new dog! She smelled great and seemed happy. I think mom said she was still sleeping from the ordeal. Mom probably was too.




When I get home Shadow is always ready for her treat. She knows I owe her a chew.

  I Came home and waited on the counter guy. Our Quartz counter we had put in last year and shifted a little and lucky for us it is under warranty.
He took pictures and will have to turn those in and figure out how to fix it.

I made a run to pick up my check from the closing last week. I also ran by Hobby Lobby and found a rotating tree stand! I have always wanted one. Well, for a few years. I think it will be neat to see all the ornaments. Hope it works well. Now to find the tree!

For dinner I made Tilapia rolled in Panko and seared  in my brevile grill mom gave me. Turned out so good! Earlier at my mother's house I made my Aunt Dot's recipe of Broccoli salad. That is the side dish. Although Tim will not like it. I'll have to serve his with some collards from the other day.
