New Furniture good!

Since I am so far behind I think I'll start by posting all our new furniture we bought this year.I felt good about it because it was something I showed for a year of working hard. The place we bought our furniture was a furniture store a good friend told me about.She also took me there.Tim and I drove up on another day.All I really was wanting was new den couches and a kitchen table. But we ended up buying much more. I am happy with our choices. The only thing I did not get and decided to wait on was the sun porch furniture. Maybe next year. So take a look and let me know what you think!






It took a while to decide on what new furniture we wanted for the den. We finally decided to be bold and go for the red leather sectional. It stands out against the knotty pine. We have no regrets,it feels cozy and looks great!


In the office we decided on a large wall unit. It gives us plenty of space for all the STUFF we have accumulated over the years and Tim likes the elbow room.Just last week I drove up and got the part they forgot. Not pictured is a rolling file that fits nicely under the desk. This beautiful red antique looking piece in the office is a favorite of mine. All that drawer space is wonderful ! Plus the red pops against the oak paneling in the office.

It has been a few months. But,we also have all new kitchen appliances.I decided on black to match the new counters we had put in last year. I went to find a new table set.The one I thought I wanted was sold. Tim and I decided this one would look pretty good. It fits just perfectly. Notice the hutch in the back ground. Mom gave me that.She and dad bought it back when I was a little girl. I love it and it looks great in my kitchen. This is something that I will always cherish.

Tim's choice was the new Dining set.I was not really looking right now. I had admired it with my girl friends. I never thought Tim would like it as much as we did. So here it is! I think it looks better than I thought it would. Questions is how often will we use it ?


Since we went crazy and bought so much new furniture,the house would not be complete with out new entrance hall furniture. So this was what we chose. I think it fits pretty good :o) Best part is more storage space in those cabinets!
