When I was going into the 7th grade I started off the year by getting braces. On August 20th at age 12 ,Ashley went to the Orthodontists and had braces put on. She was the same age I was when I got mine all those years ago. When I went back to see her she had this look on her face. Her mouth was hurting pretty bad. I could remember exactly how bad it felt when I had mine put on,so I could feel her pain. Unlike when I was a child braces look much better. The kids even get to decorate them up by choosing colorful rubber bands. It is so cool to have braces these days! Ashley chose little green bands to decorate her braces.
