Ashley and I enjoyed some time outside today. The cold weather has past for now and the buds on the dogwoods are starting to bloom. I could heard the buzzing of the bees on the lilac and I was lucky enough to have a butterfly land on a lilac as I was taking a picture. The Koi seemed happy to see us and came swimming up to the edge of the pond in hopes we would throw in some food. Shadow our chocolate lab was excited to have us give her some attention. She jumped and ran barking and trying to get more attention. Ashley got caught out by the garden area with Honey and Sugar and had to be thier hero by getting them back to the areas Shadow could not play. She might be a bit rough with the smaller dogs (So Ashley thinks). I had a feeling we were being watched and we WERE!!! We could see the eyes of Gabby the cat staring at us from a window above. After walking around a while and taking a few pictures while Ashley ran here and there we finally hesded for the house. Gabby was hiding by the door and as I opened it she darted out. This put Ashley in her panic mode as she came running up the back steps with Sugar in tow. I grabbed Gabby by the tail( She was hiding under the van) And I pulled her into my hands. Ashley grabbed her and cuddled her as if she would be doomed if she had spent one more minute in the back yard jungle.

SERIOUSLY, one of these days Jeff and I are going to plan a vacation just to wander your gardens and ponds... this is soooo beautiful!! Great pictures and the Koi... ohhhhhh!!! :-)
