So thanks to my best friend Kathy, I am redecorating my house it seems :) I dug out all my shabby/chic/vintage/country French decor I had put away. Sadly I sold some of it. NEVER again! I'll save it all unless it is messed up. But, even then it is still usable if it is shabby, right??
I had so many cute pillow in the cream :( All gone "sad face". I also had started the guestroom slash "Ashley taking over another room" room. It is slow in coming. I started back in July when my" Sister N law" told me about Chalk paint. I was so excited. But, after she left I only made it half way through on the project. As of now I have 1 piece almost done. I have been re inspired though. Ashley found a canvas picture she loved. I happened back to the store one day and it was on a "big sale! sale of the day for $33.00. It was originally $99.00!! That was now the anchor of this bedroom.
Kathy came over and she right away knew what the bed should be decorated with. She said a Tulle spread. I had NO clue what that was. We went out and guess what!! We found the perfect bedspread and I bought it. I think Kathy likes helping spend my money :) I also am dragging out my old Comforter I put away to the attic. It is lighter and has some pretty color unlike the dark one I had on our master bed all fall and winter. Time for some happy colors!
I am also happy about decorating for Spring/Easter!! Can I blame Kathy again? I always enjoyed Easter but this year I again had ridden myself of the childish Easter decor since my girl is almost grown. I have a little left. But now I have a different theme. More about Spring, flowers and birds. I guess I can blame some local shops for that. I love "the Old Mercantile" Hobby Lobby "Kirkland's" , Miss Lucille's" a few antique shops and Kohl's.
