It started a week ago. Tuesday the 4th of February. I started to feel a throb out of nowhere, in my left jaw. It became more pronounce over the next couple hours. I just blew it off. Then Wednesday it started to ache a bit more. I could not tell what tooth it was. I just assumes it must be the one I had a recently crown on. I got into the dentist Wednesday. It showed nothing. Lucky for me the dentist put me on antibiotics.
With in a week I was at Dr. Weber's office getting a root canal! I was in so much pain the day before. First a toothache, then a headache then nausea. I finally tossed my cookies. By the time I got to the dentist nothing could be worse. It was amazing how instant the pain was relieved. I took some "Aleve" and didn't really need much else :)
Does anyone else feel the signs of age creeping up on you? I seem to have a new ache or pain every few months. I think many are due to medication I get to make something better. Like the "Zocor" for cholesterol that pretty much messed me up good. I later was told by a DR. I should have never been given "Zocor". My good cholesterol was so good and he told me my total was better than an athlete. That was all good but by the time I learn this I had been on it so long my muscles were pretty much ruined. That was about 4 years ago. The next year I broke my foot and I was miserable for a year. That may have been caused by a medication I was given because of the side effects of the "Zocor"

Once I got myself off all of it I started to heel. The only bad part was my workouts are harder and I mostly just walk. I think I am just tired, between all that I went through and now menopause is in full bloom. I got put back on a cholesterol drug recently and the joint and muscle pain is horrible again. I am now taking a vitamin called "Co Q-10"to counter act the "Zetia" side effects. I thought it was working ,but recently the pains are back. It could be the cold weather causing my joints and finger to throb and ache. I am giving this all till late March. Today I feel better. Weather is a little warmer.
In the mean time I am becoming a pickier eater as I nibble and gnaw on things with low cholesterol. It may not matter because I never ate bad food and it is in my family history to have high cholesterol. The good part is no immediate family has died of heart disease. I was on a roll with my walking and exercise before my tooth started aching. Maybe now I'll get back on track.

Yes....we are getting older...which is better than not getting older I guess :). Today I had needles stuck in my hand and arms, and electric shocks. Then I was told there was no nerve damage or pinched nerve. Not sure why my hands are always going numb and I have that stabbing pain in my back with all of the normal test results. I am just about to just deal with the pain and forget the doctors.
