Counting down Til Christmas!

Tim,Ashley and I had a busy weekend. Leaving on Friday when Tim got home for Huntsville. We dropped Ashley off at my sister's house when we got to Huntsville and went to the a dinner party put on by the "Huntsville Night Stalkers Association". Tim has 2 weeks left as the President of the NSA so it was nice to go. We enjoyed the time we spent with fellow Night Stalkers and Tim enjoyed reminiscing his years in the army. We had prime rib and dessert. I was stuffed. We got back to Robin's by just after 8pm. Zach and Tate were waiting up to see us. After some playtime we all headed up to bed. I was exhausted !.
In the morning Robin made French toast, eggs and sausage as requested by Tate. He is such a food lover! After eating Tate was asking for one of the Lemon blossoms I brought for a treat. He loved them. Zach had some as well but did not carry on as much as Tate did about my treats.  Tim, Ashley and I then surprised the boys with an early Christmas gift for each one.
The gifts were audio recorded books. We bought them at Hallmark. Ashley was able to record her voice reading and singing to stories to the boys. Leo's was The first Christmas' Zach's was 'The Night Before Christmas" and Tate's was " Frosty the Snowman".

Tate enjoys the book that Ashley recorded for him.

Leo,Tim and tate watching some TV.
The boys seemed to really like them. I think it took a couple times listening  for them to realize it was Ashley's voice. Tate was especially fond of the books. He loved how Ashley sang his story and how at the end of each We mentioned their names to personalize the books. After listening to the books several times,Tate loaded them back into the gift bag as if they were all his, said"Thank you" and dragged them all to his room :) We played for a few hours had pizza for lunch then it came time for naps. Tate got the books out to listen again as we hugged them all and said goodbye. The boys never like goodbyes.

Ashley and Zachary building with legos.

The drive home seemed long. Mom babysat Honey and I am sure she was happy to see us. After getting home I crashed in the chair and watched TV.

Ashley's friend Lauren stayed the night. Those two are so much alike and are so good when they are together. You do not even know they are in the house, most the time.

Today I spend cleaning out kitchen cabinets and listening to the "Titan's" lose. How depressing :( Later we ate sweet and sour ribs mom made ,Ashley and I watched a movie together. Something about "revenge of the furry creatures" Something like that. I am such a good mom,I made puddings in a cloud and surprised my 2 favorite people. Ashley gave me a big kiss! ;) It's the little things that make u smile!
