Happy Birthday to Me!

Another Birthday has come and gone. They seem to come faster and faster. This year we spent mine at a dance convention. It was fun. Unfortunatly Ashley was feeling a bit under the weather all we and it lingered over into the weekend. She still felt she could be there for her team and so we made the trip. We stayed at The Embassy Suites,we had a very nice suite . The convention center was in the hotel ,so that was very nice.

It started off bad before we headed out on saturday morning. I was walking to the den and dropped my Iphone on the kitchen tile floor. Oh yes, of course it shattered the glass. Guess what I got for my Bday!!

Tim and I spent Saturday out enjoying our selves while Ashley was in her dance classes. We arrived in Murfreesburo  and got to the Embassy suites at 7:00.a.m. Ashley signed in for classes at 8:00 . Tim and I hit the door and went out for my Birthday breakfast at "The Cracker barrel". Love their breakfasts! Once we finished up eating  we went to get my new Iphone. Decided to buy the newer model so I could feel like I had something different :o) The off to Haverty's to look at furniture( Looking for a bedroom set for Ashley) Together we walked the outdoor mall,which reminded me allot of the one in Montgomery Ala. where we went when visiting Aunt Dot in 2005. I bought myself a couple plaid shirts at American Eagle,along with some tshirts. We picked up Ashley a red plaid red coat at Delia's.It was on sale! Reg $89 for just $33! Bought her a few articles of clothing for her upcoming Bday and then headed for some more shops. After walking a couple hours and not seeing much else we headed to subway to pick up some lunch for Ashley.

The girls said this was the best convention ever. Well of course it was, they ended up being the only studio there! Others all cancelled because of so much snow,they could not make it. They were all coming from East Tennessee. It was not because it was snowing at the time. But had snowed so much the past 2 weeks they could not practice and had missed 12 days of school. So our kids were the only ones there. I guess they didn't mind. It was a pricey practice camp. Compitition was watching all our kids. How fun! Atleast it was not as long as it could have been.

We had my Birthday dinner at Chilis! I had baby back ribs, My favorite! Got home by 11( Late dinner) .

Sunday morning Ashley was not feeling good again. We decided to have her skip the Sunday convention classes and we headed back home. I was kinda ready to get home. I think I was getting a bit of her cold.
It was fun to spend my birthday somewhere different. I had a fun weekend with me girl and my guy :o)
