Today is Mother's Day. We started the day off with the bathroom re modeler dropping by to fix a leak in the tub drain. One of many issues we have had with the remodeling of an old bathroom. This messed up the morning a bit. Ashley had planned on me having breakfast in bed, but that was not gonna happen with the fellow dropping by at 7 am. So she decided going for a take out breakfast might be fun. She had a cute card made for her Grandma and a cute little purse like to put it in that had a little saying on it about Grandma. She recorded a little message on the card and asked if she could stop and get her grandmother the morning paper, she said she knows grandma likes the Sunday morning paper.
We went for some breakfast biscuits and she ran her gift to her grandmother. We got home and planned to spend our day working together in the gardens. I enjoyed the gardening and we did get a lot done.
Later in the evening we watched a movie and I got a foot rub. Tim grilled the pork chops mom gave us for dinner. It was a pretty good day :o)
